| | Chabin has prepared over 20 winning incentive zone applications for rural and urban communities throughout California. During California's 2006 round of enterprise zone applications, Chabin prepared three winners and reviewed a fourth.
California Enterprise Zones and Targeted Tax Areas provide tax incentives to businesses creating jobs in designated areas. Recycling Marketing Development Zones (RMDZs) provide incentives to companies using recycled raw materials. Local Agency Military Base Recovery Areas (LAMBRAs) provide special incentives to businesses locating on the site of former military bases.
Chabin also developed EZcalculator, a tool for enterprise zone websites to calculate estimated tax savings. | |
