Major attractions of the site are a community profile, news features, properties database and resources for entrepreneurs looking to grow their company. Along with breaking news, Porterville staff will update site selection data and properties frequently in order to ensure accurate information.
“Not only will this website showcase Porterville, but it will present resources for entrepreneurs,” said Linda Wammack, Porterville Development Associate.
The site was developed by EDsuite, under the guidance of Chabin Concepts, who also developed the preliminary content in partnership with the city. The city wanted a site that presents its economic development story in a clean, professional manner.
The website content management system is both inexpensive and flexible, allowing Porterville to publish text, photos, charts and graphs relevant to the area. Additionally, the city can respond to leads using an online proposal system. | |
