| | (October 2008) TeamCalifornia is going to the Solar Power International 2008 conference, Oct. 13-16 in San Diego, Calif. Audrey Taylor, Chabin president, serves as the marketing chair for TeamCalifornia.
Taylor said California is the leading state on “going green” technologically and so this event hopes to connect California communities with companies.
Solar technologies are looking at an increased investment of $232 billion from 2009-2016 and TeamCalifornia wants to help California continue to be successful in this industry.
Participating with TeamCalifornia is California’s Lt. Gov. John Garamendi, who will tour the event and attend a VIP dinner.
Taylor said TeamCalifornia sees it not only as a chance to market California’s assets to manufacturers, but also as a way to give back by helping communities connect with businesses on a common goal, preserving the environment by using solar technology. | |
